Nov 4 & 5

Another day with horses

We visited a Friesian horse farm

A very impressive barn! The property is up for sale. They never even started building the house so it’s just the land and stables. The owner couldn’t decide whether she’d trade the property for a jet or just 36 million dollars. No takers yet.

The owner collects horse memorabilia and art.  This is the circular center of the building with the stables radiating out.

 Back at the farm…….

TinTin developed a strange rash on her nose.  It seems to be from bee/yellow jacket stings or perhaps nettle?

IMG_2353   Poor girly.  she doesn’t seemed to be bothered by it but the other poodles are making fun of her and calling her Cyrano.

Awww poor Tin Tin, your son is being called “Patches” right now here at home (or “Squeaky”). Hope the nose gets better and quit sticking it in places it shouldn’t be. I love the Friesians – one of my favorite horse breeds – not as big as draft horses (which I adore) but same lovely temperament.
